Ingredients

Dip:

  • 7 slices bacon, diced

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup chopped green onion

  • 5 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped

Topping:

  • 1 cup crushed buttery round crackers

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Make the dip: Cook and stir bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crisp, about 10 minutes. Transfer with a slotted spoon to a paper towel-lined plate lined to drain.

  3. Stir cream cheese, mayonnaise, Cheddar, mozzarella, green onion, jalapeño peppers, and bacon together in a bowl; spread into a 9-inch round baking dish.

  4. Make the topping: Mix crackers, Parmesan, and melted butter together in a bowl. Spread over cream cheese mixture.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly, 20 to 30 minutes.

Cook’s Note

Sometimes I mix the Parmesan cheese in with the dip and omit the cracker and butter topping, then bake as directed.
