Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk

  • cup white sugar

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (Optional)

Directions

  1. Turn slow cooker on High. Mix milk and sugar together in the crock of the slow cooker.

  2. Cook for 3 hours, stirring every 10 minutes in the last 30 minutes to prevent burning. Mix butter and vanilla extract into condensed milk and let cool.

Cook's Note:

Don't worry about it not being thick enough it will get twice the thickness as it cools. It will last about 2 weeks in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
