Quick and easy: just 2 ingredients + 25 minutes = yummy. You may use store-bought pesto, or make your own, such as the "Easy Pesto" recipe on this site. A great new way to use all that basil in the garden! Serve with toasted slices of French bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • cup basil pesto

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Spread cream cheese evenly on bottom of an 8-inch round baking dish. Layer pesto evenly over cream cheese.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling, about 20 minutes.

Recipe Tip

Substitute Neufchâtel cheese for cream cheese if desired.
