Ingredients

Meatballs:

  • ½ pound ground pork

  • ½ pound ground beef

  • ¼ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten

  • ¾ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

Sauce:

  • cup pure maple syrup

  • ¼ cup prepared yellow mustard

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  4. Combine maple syrup, mustard, ketchup, hot pepper sauce, and salt for sauce in a medium bowl. Pour over meatballs and toss to coat.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until set and cooked through, about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
