Giada De Laurentiis

Giada De Laurentiis is the Emmy award-winning television personality of Food Network's Everyday Italian, Giada at Home, Giada's Weekend Getaways, Giada in Paradise, Giada in Italy, Giada Entertains, Giada on the Beach, and Giada's Holiday Handbook. She is the chef of GIADA and Pronto by Giada restaurants in Las Vegas.

De Laurentiis was born in Rome and began her culinary career working at the Ritz-Carlton Fine Dining Room and Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in California before founding GDL Foods catering company. A Food Network executive discovered her in a Food & Wine story, which led to De Laurentiis' TV debut.

In addition to her many shows, De Laurentiis is a Today show contributor, a Food Network Star judge, and the author of nine New York Times bestselling cookbooks, including Giada's Italy, as well as a series of children's books called Recipe for Adventure. Her lifestyle and e-commerce website, Giadzy.com, launched in 2017, featuring recipes, entertaining and travel tips, videos, and kitchen products.

De Laurentiis trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has an anthropology degree from the University of California in Los Angeles.
