Ingredients

  • cup rice vinegar

  • ½ teaspoon sugar

  • 1 banana chile

Directions

  1. Pour the vinegar into a bowl, add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Cut the stem off the chile and halve it lengthwise. Remove and discard the seeds and membranes. Thinly slice the chile crosswise and add to the vinegar. Serve in individual small bowls.
