Jackie is a professional chef and cookbook author with over 25 years of experience in the food industry. Her talents include a wide range of skills such as a cheesemaker, farmhand, culinary instructor, recipe developer, TV and radio personality, and food stylist.

She has authored several cookbooks, including Easy Beans, A Hearty Book of Veggies Sandwiches, and Cast Iron Skillet One-Pan Meals, which focus on easy and healthy everyday recipes.

In addition to cookbooks, Jackie has created over 1,000 recipes, and her food and family-centered articles have been published online and in print in various national publications.

She was also the host of the web series "Healthy Kids Cook" and has made over 100 hundred TV and radio guest appearances.

Education

Jackie received an associate's degree in restaurant and food service production from South Seattle Community College and a bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. However, most of her education stems from real-life experience, working in the culinary industry.
