Lauren David is a Chilean-American freelance writer with over 14 years of gardening experience. She has written about food, nutrition, gardening and more for numerous publications including Allrecipes, Greatist and other publications.

Experience

Born and raised in the SF Bay Area to a Chilean father and Canadian mother, she's accustomed to different perspectives and ways of approaching life. She has a B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology from San Francisco State University.

Lauren has a multitude of experiences and has traveled all over the world. She's been gardening for over 14 years. Her previous jobs include Content Writer for a Non-profit food organization, Garden Educator for K-12th grade youth, and international ESL Teacher. Her work has appeared in Allrecipes, Budget Travel, Business Insider, Fodor's, Greatist, Huffpost Personal, MindBodyGreen, The Healthy, The Kitchn, Reader's Digest, SmarterTravel, Verywell Fit and more.

She enjoys leisurely road trips, spending time by the ocean and in her garden, where she plants diverse vegetable varieties. You'll also find her experimenting in the kitchen and daydreaming about her next trip.
