Melissa Locker writes about food, drinks, culture, pets, and the joys of Waffle House, where she always orders her browns scattered and puts money in the jukebox to play “There Are Raisins In My Toast”.

Melissa also regularly contributes to Southern Living’s News coverage on everything from the new menu items at our favorite eateries to the latest updates on our favorite television shows.

She has seen every single Hallmark Christmas Movie and most of the Lifetime Christmas movies, too. Speaking to Lacey Chabert about her work in Christmas at Castle Hart was a career highlight.

In addition to writing, Melissa loves to cook, reads everything, celebrates Halloween for three months of the year, and pets every dog she meets.
