Lauren David is a Chilean-American freelance writer who has been writing about food and nutrition for years. Her background includes working as a farmers' market manager, garden and nutritional educator for K through 12, and cheese assistant at San Francisco's The Cheese School.

Experience: Born and raised in the SF Bay Area to a Chilean father and Canadian mother, she's accustomed to different perspectives and ways of approaching life. She has a B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology from San Francisco State University.
