This was a-MAZING and actually quite simple. One pot, no worry about the perfect roux (like with gumbo). Made a double batch to ensure we had plenty of leftovers for tomorrow afternoon and night!
This one was truly a winner in our house! The addition of the mushroom soup made the taste buds explode. My 14 year old son, who normally only prefers a roast if it’s pork, was actually surprised at how much flavor it had.ONLY thing I added was some thyme.
Best chicken thigh marinade we’ve tasted yet! We’re fortunate enough to be friends with folks who raise chickens (literally 3 houses down!), and they had a ton to give us, so we got fat, juicy all natural chickens! I followed the recipe to a T, just had to remove the skins prior. Holy moly was all my family could say!
