These were so incredible. Definitely a go to lemon bar recipe. I made these to celebrate a friend's Michigan victory and added blueberries in an "M" to hers. They were quick and easy to make. I will definitely try again with the meringue topping. Thanks, Chef John!
This was excellent! It was a quick and tasty dinner that came together quickly. I used sourdough bread and didn't have blue cheese so I used extra pepperjack which I shredded so it would melt better. Delicious! I was not excited about the boneless pork chops we were gifted for Christmas but this recipe changed my mind. I used apple juice instead of apple cider and the sauce came out perfect. Absolutely delicious! I cut down the recipe just for two and it was a huge hit! This recipe produced such an amazingly flavorful sauce and the duck was so succulent. We probably could have eaten two legs each but alas I was using up the rest of a whole duck. This would be a great recipe for anyone who says they don't like duck. I made as written but accidentally spilled too much sambal in the sauce but it turned out to be a happy accident because the spice was great. The husband was very pleased.
