The family loved this 'pumpkin pie'. ;)
It is really sweet, at least for me, nobody else thought it was too sweet. Very light with a delicate texture. So easy to make in the blender. I made it without any changes except baking time. I had to tent with foil and add 10 minutes.
Considering I have a boat load of butternut growing in the garden, I will keep this recipe for future reference.
Use beef broth instead of chicken and use a whole quart broth, not the 3 cups listed.
Worcestershire sauce instead of soy sauce.
16 oz noodles was a lot, even stirred into with a quart of broth, not just the 3 cups listed. The end result didn't yield a sauce with noodles and beef, but more like a casserole.
If you are in a big hurry, this probably not for you,
I would make this again but cook the noodles stove top.
