Trader Joe’s Just Brought Back the 'Best Thing They Sell,' According to Fans

Trader Joe’s is known for being the grocery store that sells the best snacks. These snacks are so good that shoppers pack purse forks so they can dive in right after checkout. Actress Tiffani Theissen keeps her favorites in the front seat of the car so she can snack on the way home. 

When a new TJ's product is released or a favorite returns, we have to tell you about it to ensure you don’t miss out. The only thing more sure than the fact that Trader Joe’s snacks are delicious is that so many of them are on the shelves for just a limited time. Sure, the seasonal ones—like the Patio Potato Chips or the Almond Kringle—tend to return the following season. But if you miss a favorite this season, you'll have to wait a total of two years from your last delicious bite until your next. We just can’t allow that. 

So when a fan favorite comes back to the store, our duty is to let you know about it.

Trader Joe’s S'mores Ice Cream Is Back

Look in the freezer section of any Trader Joe’s, and you’ll find a treasure trove of frozen desserts. Depending on the season, you may see individual servings of Pretzel Bread Pudding, Japanese Soufflé Cheesecakes, or Banana Pudding Flavored Ice Cream. You might think something like the Banana Pudding Flavored Ice Cream would be available all summer, but treats must give way to make room for new ones, and it’s time for a new one.

That new one, or should we say returning one, is S’mores Ice Cream, a treat one fan called “the best thing they sell” when Instagram’s Trader Joe’s Treasure Hunt hinted it would be returning soon.

The frozen treat is graham cracker-flavored ice cream with marshmallow and chocolaty swirls and an added pinch of sea salt. One commenter said, “I’ll buy this in bulk.”

The window to buy it in bulk is now open. Just a week after announcing the summer flavor’s imminent return, Trader Joe’s Treasure Hunt posted again, saying, “Run to Trader Joe’s.” The ice cream has shown up in the freezer section, calling to fans of all things s’mores like a siren.

“Yayyy!! I am so so happy!!” one Trader Joe’s fan squealed. “This is delish!!!! I had some 2 nights ago, so good!!!”
