Trader Joe's Is Selling Everything You Need to Make Your House Look Like a Winter Wonderland

My husband and I just bought our first house, so, naturally, I wanted to go all out and decorate it for Christmas. The only problem? Those Pinterest-perfect holiday decorations I've been eyeing—like garlands, swags, bows and wreaths—are hella expensive. I thought I was going to have to move to Mount Crumpit (you know, the secluded mountain top just outside of Whoville, where the Grinch lives), until I stopped by Trader Joe's for a grocery run. There, I found everything I needed to turn my home into a winter wonderland. AND IT IS ALL SO CUTE AND CHEAP!! Read on if you're as excited by holiday decorations as I am.

Grump Trees

First, in the spirit of the grinch, look at these little Whovillian cypress "Grump Trees!" How cute are they? And they're only $9. I'll take one for every surface in my house, thanks.

Garland, Wreaths and Swags

Live out your Pinterest-perfect holiday dreams with fresh and fragrant greenery from TJ's. The garland is just $8, wreaths are $10 and the swags with red bows are just $8. Now you can adorn every door, mailbox and porch light on your house (I already have!).

Poinsettias

Poinsettias are a classic winter holiday decoration, which is kind of odd since they are actually from Mexico and thrive in the heat. If you live in a warm climate where the temperature consistently stays above 45°F in the winter, these would be gorgeous on your porch or lining a sidewalk. If you live in a cold environment, line them on a mantle. The big ones will set you back $13, and the little ones are just $4.

Rosemary Christmas Tree Topiary

Rosemary is a hardy plant, and can thrive in most environments or even indoors. Plus, it's incredibly fragrant and useful in lots of recipes (like marinated veggies or yummy cocktails).
