Cheryl Sternman Rule is a food writer and former EatingWell contributing editor who contributed to several EatingWell cookbooks. She is the author of Yogurt Culture and Ripe, and her work has been published by Serious Eats, The Kitchn, Vegetarian Times, Health, Edible San Francisco and others. Her blog, 5 Second Rule, won an award for best culinary blog from the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Cheryl has also worked for a commercial bakery and for the Bon Appétit Management Company, and is currently senior manager of content marketing at Cohesity.
