Hilary Meyer is a freelance recipe developer, tester and content creator. After graduating from culinary school, she started working as a freelancer in the EatingWell Test Kitchen in 2006, developing and testing recipes. Her interest in writing eventually led her to a full-time position as an associate editor for EatingWell, where she wrote numerous articles for both print and the web with a focus on tips and advice for home cooks, streamlining holiday meals and fixing common cooking mistakes. She left for New York City in 2014 but came running back home to Vermont in 2015, where she got right back to it, testing and creating recipes and writing and editing content for EatingWell on a freelance basis.

Hilary enjoys getting her hands dirty in her home garden and using what she grows to inspire new, healthy recipes that hopefully her two young kids will eat. On weekends, you can find her on Lake Champlain swimming and paddle-boarding or skiing in the winter with her family and friends.
