Katie is a food editor for the Commerce team at Dotdash Meredith, and has over a decade's worth of experience in the publishing industry.

Katie is a food editor for the Commerce team at Dotdash Meredith, where she writes and edits articles for EatingWell. She has also been a contributor to titles that include The Spruce Eats, Real Simple, Food & Wine, and more. She has spent over a decade in publishing, working on titles that ranged from Ladies’ Home Journal to People.

Katie has long been inspired by the power of food to connect and tell a story. In her free time, she enjoys powerlifting, fostering dogs, and attempting recipes that end up using a lot of time and an excessive amount of pans.

Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Central College.
