Peanut Butter Yogurt Cup with Magic Shell Topping

(3)

This easy, high-protein snack tastes just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. You can conveniently make it in the yogurt container for quick cleanup. Alternatively, if you don’t have a single-serve container, scoop 1/2 cup yogurt from a larger container into a small bowl. Any nut or seed butter would work well in this four-ingredient recipe.

  2. Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High in 15-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is melted and smooth (about 45 to 60 seconds total). Pour over the yogurt mixture and spread evenly to cover. Garnish with peanuts and/or salt, if desired. Freeze for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes, until the chocolate is set.

* Daily Values (DVs) are the recommended amounts of nutrients to consume each day. Percent Daily Value (%DV) found on nutrition labels tells you how much a serving of a particular food or recipe contributes to each of those total recommended amounts. Per the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the daily value is based on a standard 2,000 calorie diet. Depending on your calorie needs or if you have a health condition, you may need more or less of particular nutrients. (For example, it’s recommended that people following a heart-healthy diet eat less sodium on a daily basis compared to those following a standard diet.)
