Dylan Ettinger is a Los Angeles-based writer specializing in spirits, cocktails, and coffee with hands-on experience visiting distilleries and bars across the US, Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Ettinger is a long-time coffee and hospitality professional turned writer with a passion for learning and a commitment to research.

Ettinger began his journey through the world of alcohol as a bartender, pouring craft beers and whiskey shots at his hometown dive bar in Indiana. His writing career began in 2020 with coffee product reviews for Business Insider. He has since expanded his areas of expertise and is currently focused on distilled spirits and cocktails.

Visiting many distilleries throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States, tasting some of the World’s best spirits, and learning from the people who make them, Ettinger's bylines include Liquor.com, VinePair, Serious Eats, InsideHook, Epicurious, and The Educated Barfly.

Dylan holds a BA in Anthropology from Indiana University, Bloomington.
