More Episodes of ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ Are on the Way

Guy Fieri just inked a new three-year TV deal with Food Network.

Guy Fieri has kept busy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Early on, he teamed up with the National Restaurant Association to launch the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund—and when fires struck in California, Fieri was once again there to feed people, too. With everyone turning to delivery, the chef launched a nationwide to-go chain: Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen.

Now, as life slowly returns to normal, Fieri appears eager to get back to doing what he does best: making more television. The Hollywood Reporter announced today that the celebrity chef has just inked a new three-year exclusive deal with the Food Network—meaning all of our favorite Fieri shows should keep running for the foreseeable future.

"Food Network is my home and I'm stoked to continue the partnership with the entire Discovery family," Fieri stated. "The world of food is the ultimate unifier, so having a global platform to share real-life stories of some of the most deserving chefs, restaurateurs, home cooks, entrepreneurs and anyone who just loves a good meal is an incredible opportunity. I can't wait for everyone to see what we're cookin' up next."

Though the Hollywood Reporter didn't explicitly state which shows were a part of the deal, the entertainment magazine did point out that Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy's Grocery Games, and Tournament of Champions all aired new episodes in 2020 despite the pandemic and all appear slated to continue. Additionally, the continuing partnership will see Fieri develop and produce series for the Discovery+ streaming platform.

"Guy Fieri infuses his unmatched energy and passion into every show he makes," Food Network president Courtney White was quoted as saying. "He is truly one-of-a-kind, adored globally for his own love of food and his deep appreciation for the people behind the restaurant scenes. I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue this extraordinary, creative partnership."
