One hotel is going to great lengths to keep their guests from getting hangry. The Beatrice, in Providence, Rhode Island, is infusing luxury into one of our favorite pastimes — snacking.

The luxe boutique hotel's new service, 'Snack Attendant,' was designed to indulge traveler's cravings with specially curated goods tied to the Providence area. The program will deliver top-quality, local treats to guests' rooms based on their "Snack Sign."

What is a "Snack Sign" exactly? It's kind of like a star sign, but for things like gummy bears, cheese, and nuts, but make it high-end. Guests interested in tapping into the service during their stay are invited to complete a snack survey two weeks before their reserved visit. The online quiz is not only fun but helps to determine if you're a 'Sweet Tooth' snacker, a 'Snack Fanatic,' or an 'Antipasti Aficionado.' The results help the Snack Attendant staff put together treat options to await guests' arrival in their room or to satisfy sweet and savory cravings during their time at The Beatrice when booked through the "Stay & Snack Package."

Once your "Snack Sign" is determined, treats are chosen for your specific tastes, thanks to the hotel's partnership with Hope & Main Downtown Makers Marketplace, a culinary hub for local Providence businesses. Guests can expect everything from Aura's Chocolate Bars, Z Pita Chipz, or Sacred Cow Granola, as well as elevated rustic Italian selections such as artisanal cured meats and aged cheeses from the hotel's collaboration with their onsite restaurant, Bellini Providence

"That is why we introduced 'The Snack Attendant' at The Beatrice, a service designed to give visitors the opportunity to savor a selection of the finest Rhode Island snacks and premium locally sourced treats right from the moment they arrive. This service not only delivers the highest quality goods directly to our guests but also captures the essence of the beloved city we call home —Providence. It offers tastes and culinary experiences that are truly unique to our vibrant area."

If you choose to forgo the "Stay & Snack Package," you can still head to the lobby shop at The Beatrice during your stay to fulfill your cravings, where an array of treats from Hope & Main Downtown Marketplace are available for purchase. Go ahead and Treat-yo-self.
