My husband and I really liked these. I added a little Cayenne pepper to them to give them a kick. I would definitely make them again.
I haven't made these yet but was wondering if anyone could tell me if they are actually crispy, since they aren't fried as usual:/
These are really good. Everyone loved them. I added the peas along with the potatos at the end so as not to overcook the peas. The second time I made them for a party I froze the unbaked samosa & then baked just before serving - turned out great.
personally, I am just too slow in the kitchen to assemble these guys in a reasonable amount of time. I also find phyllo difficult to work with, so I tried a puff pastry instead and I wasn't happy with the consistency of the pastry. Any tips?
I've made these many times to rave reviews each time! They are easy to make ahead and keep on a baking sheet before a party, popping them in the oven shortly before serving. Delicious, filling, and healthy! I've served them as appetizers and as a main dish accompanied by salad. Highly recommend!
