The curiosity expanded to her current role as a recipe developer and tester. Thinking about the impact each ingredient plays in a dish. Cultural influences from around the world has always been a focus of Emily's. Deep diving into a specific cultures food and learning about the meaning behind it, is a hobby of hers. Not being afraid to ask questions and research until she finds the answer, helps her finetune her recipes.

My favorite kitchen tool is a milk frothier wand. Its compact and fits in a drawer or on your countertop super well. It is perfect for making emulsions, specifically ones for homemade salad dressing!

Experience

What makes Emily unique to the recipe testing world is her ability to question everything. Asking why or why not for each recipe allows the recipe to fit perfectly into the narrative needed at the moment. After traveling to over 10 different countries, Emily has taken interest in different cultures food, how they eat it and why it become so prevent in that region. She tries to make authenticity a priority in all of her recipes.
