Ingredients

  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 4 cups cubed seedless watermelon

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil

  • 1 tablespoon best-quality balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze (see Tip)
