Bronx

The Bronx became a popular drink around 1910, possibly because it was one of the first to contain orange juice. Serious cocktail drinkers considered the Bronx weak, but Derek Brown calls it "a perfectly balanced hot-weather cocktail." Slideshow: More Gin Cocktails

Ingredients

  • Ice

  • 1 1/2 ounces London dry gin

  • 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth

  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth

  • 1 ounce fresh orange juice

Directions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe.
