Renu is a recipe tester and developer for Dotdash Meredith. She has more than a decade of cumulative experience cooking as a personal chef and culinary instructor. As a personal chef she developed over a thousand personalized recipes and meal plans for her clients.

She also crafted more than 200 classes teaching efficient meal planning, use of proper techniques, and how to cook healthy gourmet food despite a busy lifestyle. She is an expert on spices and has taught world cuisine in a professional capacity at the Cook Street School of Culinary Arts.

Renu Dhar has been a Personal Chef and Instructor who enjoys cooking and teaching various cuisines from around the world. She travels the world to experience and learn about food and culture. Renu focuses teaching techniques to build flavors, and on efficient meal prepping and planning to reduce food waste, and make cooking more enjoyable.
