Forget the wok and all that stirring! This stir-fry recipe comes together in only 20 minutes on one baking sheet under the broiler. The trick to a perfect sheet-pan stir-fry is making sure your ingredients are spread out well on the pan so everything cooks evenly.

Ingredients

  • 1 (7.1-ounce) package microwaveable udon stir-fry noodles 

  • 4 cups shredded coleslaw mix

  • 2 cups snow peas

  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce

  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons refrigerated garlic paste

  • 1 teaspoon refrigerated ginger paste

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 12 ounces shaved beef steak

  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil

  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Position oven rack 6 inches from heat source; preheat broiler. On a large rimmed baking sheet, gently pull apart noodles; toss with coleslaw mix, snow peas, hoisin, soy sauce, garlic paste, ginger paste and crushed red pepper until combined.

  2. Spread the mixture into an even layer, covering the entire baking sheet. Arrange beef evenly over the noodle mixture; drizzle the beef with sesame oil.

  3. Broil until the beef is browned in spots and cabbage is wilted, about 7 minutes. Toss the mixture with tongs until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles. Divide the noodles and beef among 4 bowls. Garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
