Bourbon Blackberry Collins

"You can mix and match a multitude of spirits and fruits or herbs in this recipe" says Marcos Tello. In place of the blackberries and bourbon, try raspberries and vodka or cherries and rum.

Ingredients

  • 4 blackberries

  • Ice

  • 1 ½ ounces bourbon

  • ¾ ounce lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • ¾ ounce 3/4 simple syrup

  • 2 ounces club soda (chilled)

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle 3 blackberries. Add ice and the bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup and shake well. Strain into a chilled, ice-filled collins glass. Stir in the club soda and garnish with the remaining blackberry.
